Set in the Achany Glen, amongst spectacular Highland scenery

the glaciers melted after the last Ice Age in the UK , the
Highland landscape was formed, creating Glens and Lochs. Erosion
by debris, boulders and gravel led to the formation of the River
Shin and the Falls of Shin which are a natural feature of the
River, and are next to the visitor centre.

you can watch from the viewing platform Atlantic Salmon
(Mid June to Late September)
Battle to return to their place of birth to spawn the next
salmon generation. |
The visitor
